House prices up 0.7% on the year

Official figures show UK house prices increasing by 0.7% in the year to the end of February. At £204,164, the value of the typical dwelling was down 5.7% from its recent April 2008 peak but up 9.8% from its 2009 trough, Department for Communities and Local Government figures show.
