April fall in UK house sales

House sale volumes slid in April, with figures from HM Revenue and Customs showing only 66,000 UK homes changing hands during the month. The total is down 1,000 from March and by 6,000 year-on-year, leaving sales since the beginning of the year 5% fewer when compared with the first four months of 2010. Despite a [...]
