House prices lose 1.4% in January

UK house prices fell 1.4% in January, to an average £208,552, with the decline taking the annual rate of gain down to 0.5% (December 3.8%). New figures from the Department for Communities and Local Government also show that year-on-year, the value of the typical home was up 1% in England, down 1.8% in Wales, had [...]
